Policies
Class Cancellation + No-Show Policy
At Desert Sage Studio, our classes are intentionally small so every student gets a hands-on, supportive experience. Because of that, spots are very limited—and they often sell out.
When you book a seat, that spot is reserved just for you.
Cancellations
Cancellations made within 72 hours of class are non-refundable.
No-Shows & Missed Classes
If you’re unable to attend your class, your spot is still considered used.
We are not able to offer refunds or credits for missed classes.
We completely understand that things like illness, emergencies, and life in general happen—but because our classes are small and frequently have waitlists, a missed spot means another student didn’t get the chance to attend.
Thank you so much for understanding and respecting the time, preparation, and space that goes into each class—we can’t wait to sew with you when the timing is right
Safety + Liability Policy
By participating in a Desert Sage Studio class, you acknowledge that sewing involves the use of tools and equipment (including sewing machines, needles, irons, and cutting tools) that carry inherent risk.
By attending, you agree to:
Follow all safety instructions provided during class
Use equipment responsibly and with care
Participation is voluntary, and you assume all risk associated with your involvement in class activities.
Desert Sage Studio and its instructors are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during participation.
Age Policy
At Desert Sage Studio, we welcome makers of all ages, but some projects require a bit more hands-on support.
Students under the age of 10 will likely need a parent or guardian present to assist them during class
A parent or guardian must remain present for all students under the age of 16
Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment for everyone in the room
Photo + Media Release
We love sharing the creativity that happens in our classes!
By attending a Desert Sage Studio class, you understand that photos or videos may be taken during class and used for social media, marketing, or promotional purposes.
If you’d prefer not to be photographed or filmed, just let us know before class begins—we’re always happy to respect your wishes.
