The Denim Cowgirl Workshop

Join us for a special sewing workshop where you’ll transform a pair of denim jeans into a one-of-a-kind cowgirl statement piece that’ll have Lainey Wilson asking you: “where’d you get those?”. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create bell-bottom panels using vintage quilt textiles, giving new life to both denim and heirloom fabric.

Each student will select from a curated collection of vintage quilts to design their own patchwork panels, making every pair completely unique. We’ll guide you through the process step-by-step so you leave with beautifully finished, wearable denim sewn completely by you!

This workshop is for confident beginners and beyond who are ready to try something creative, bold, and a little bit western.

Your workshop includes:

  • Sewing machine rental

  • Access to a curated selection of vintage quilts

  • All sewing tools and notions

  • Step-by-step instruction and guidance from your Desert Sage girls!

What to bring:

  • One pair of denim jeans (straight or bootcut styles work best). Pick a pair that you like to wear!

Spots are limited to keep the experience relaxed and supportive.

Yeehaw! See you there, cowgirl!
